In Memory Corporal Samson

It’s hard to put into words the impact and feeling of receiving news of the passing of someone you respect, care for and appreciate. Jordan Samson was a friend we were in the same Canadian Armed Forces - Basic Military Qualification Course in 2018, and we belong to the same military regimental family. He was an exceptional humble person who carried a quite grace and confidence. I’ll always remember a conversation we had outside of the Halifax Armoury at the end of a training evening, it left a lasting impression on me on just how hardworking, dedicated and focused he was, it was truly impressive Jordan was wise beyond his years.

It was his natural sense of service, of being helpful to others. Jordan was a leader, wither on the ice playing hockey the sport he loved, at work and or as dependable and reliable member of the regimental family of the Princess Louise Fusiliers. Cpl Samson embodied the best of the human spirit and regimental motto he ascribed too (Faithfully), the promise of a better future. Jordan’s whole life was ahead of him yet he accomplished so much with the time he had. A light gone to soon but who’s memory will shine on and never be forgotten. You’ll be missed immensely Jordan, my deepest sympathy’s to your entire family who loved you so much, words can do no justice the feeling of your void, heartfelt.

Rest in peace my friend,

Fideliter!
