Hurt people, hurt people. There is a lot of hurt in this world, financial hardship, emotional stress, health concerns, worry, fear, indulgence, selfishness. Before you can have empathy for others, I think it is crucial to have it for yourself. There is also a lot of hope, optimism, and opportunity however it Is not easily seen through the clouds.
My whole life I’ve struggled with self-esteem and a feeling of not being enough, this has manifested into reality more times than I care to acknowledge. The inability to get myself out of my own way at times has prevented many of my dreams from becoming a reality, yet with each step forward I have learned, recovered, and forged forward again. Perseverance, resilience, and empathy is what I’d like to be remembered for when its time for my final sunset.
There is a wellspring of deep immense shame, hurt, and regret that I think every human being feels at some point or another in life. The ability to channel these emotions into constructive creative pursuits has been life changing for me, however loss of focus, awareness or simply lack of selfcare can create significant avoidable challenges that become life altering in negative ways unless addressed directly. “Let go and let God” is a common phrase that I think is very relatable and relevant. The word God is defined as the supreme or ultimate reality, therefore within you there is God, a powerful ruler, and the reality you choose will be what you experience.
